COLUMBIA, MD - The Howard County Office of Workforce Development is proud to serve as a key partner in “Apprenticeship Day” at the Columbia Workforce Center on Thursday, August 1st. The event will take place starting promptly at 9 AM until 11 AM and will help jobseekers learn how to take advantage of a Registered Apprenticeship where one can “earn and learn” while working on the job. Attendees are encouraged to register online here, come dressed for success, and bring copies of their resume.

“From our financial literacy events to our local business workshops, Howard County Government is committed to bringing economic resources directly to the community. Apprenticeship Day is a great opportunity to connect our talented residents with good jobs,” said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball. “I want to thank our Office of Workforce Development and all our partners for their work to support such a valuable event. We will continue to provide our residents with the tools they need to become successful in careers that are meaningful to them.”
