ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County project to construct a water pumping station at 10793 Hilltop Lane in the Village of Hickory Ridge in Columbia is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, August 5. The station will provide a backup water supply to increase reliability in zone. Associated site improvements will include grading, driveway, parking, stormwater management, fencing and landscaping. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late November 2020.
The project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic in the area; however, signs will be posted at each site to advise motorists and residents of the construction.
