ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockley Meeting Room at Howard County Library System’s Elkridge branch, located at 6540 Washington Boulevard in Elkridge, to present the plans for a nearby pond repair project.
 
DPW’s Bureau of Environmental Services plans to repair the Calvert Ridge stormwater management pond adjacent to 7078 Calvert Drive in Elkridge, to improve water quality treatment of stormwater and to improve the functionality and maintainability of the stormwater management system. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2020.
 
The meeting will include a presentation and discussion of the project plans, followed by an open discussion. County staff will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
