Microbeads Banned

Did you know that certain microbeads used in body and face scrubs are now banned? Plastic beads that are made of polyethylene or polypropylene do not break down and can damage marine life. If you have products that contain plastic microbeads (it will list polyethylene or polypropylene on the ingredients list), it's best to toss the closed container in the trash. Go to BeatTheMicroBead.com to see a list of affected products.

Feeding the Green Bin Is Even Easier!

Residents in our Feed The Green Bin program can now add meats, fats and dairy to their green collection carts. Participation is so simple and easy - just put all your food scraps together in your green bin! Learn more and see if you're in the collection area at our Feed The Green Bin webpage.

Yard Trim - No Plastic Bags
