GreenFest is Howard County's largest celebration of Earth Day. Founded in 2007, the event has evolved over the years to include a diverse range of sustainable topics and activities. Held each April, this event draws thousands of visitors who can connect with local businesses, non-profits and government provide to help become better stewards to the environment. Interact with local green vendors, take home some native plants, attend a workshop or demonstration and much more!

Getting Here
Choose a "green" mode of transportation this year! Bike HoCo is partnering with GreenFest to provide a free bike corral for visitors and volunteers. If the journey is too far to cycle, consider bringing your bike to an outlying parking lot and biking to the corral.
There are three RTA buses that serve the Howard Community College campus: 401, 404 and 414. Download the Transit app for real-time date.
Consider carpooling with other GreenFest attendees! Vendors and attendees should park in the East Garage for easy accessibility to the Academic Commons and outdoor activities.
GreenFest Vendors
Applications for GreenFest 2026 have CLOSED. Payments must be received by Monday, March 2.
Interested local businesses and organizations can submit an application to participate in our next event. Vendor and Sponsor spaces are available to those organizations whose aim is to promote environmentally friendly goods and services. The GreenFest Committee reviews all vendor/sponsor applications for event appropriateness. If all vendor space has filled and/or the application deadline has passed, you can be added to our notification list for next year's event.
