The OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES is collecting new gifts (including books and toys) for families in need who have children ages 0 to 5.  Drop off donations of new, unwrapped items through December 7 at three convenient locations.   • Summer Resource Guide for Families - The Summer Resource Guide for Families provides links to a variety of services and information  including child care, activities for kids, food resources, housing and financial counseling.

As part of the Department of Community Resources and Services, the Office of Children and Families' purpose is to support the early childhood system so that children can reach their full potential.  We do this by supporting families; training/mentoring/coaching early childhood professionals; providing expert consultation on early childhood issues; creating synergies among early childhood stakeholders; aligning and maximizing resources; and implementing evidence-based programming.
