A Howard County construction project to stabilize an exposed public sewer at a stream crossing near 10907 Billingsgate Row in Columbia and an exposed manhole behind 12143 Gray Star Way in Columbia, is expected to begin on or about Wednesday, January 19th. Both the sewer and the manhole will be covered and protected using stone. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late February.
Signs have been posted near the project area to advise pedestrians and motorists of the project. While the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic, a portion of the pedestrian pathway from Gray Star Way toward the manhole work site will be closed for the duration of the project.
