Badminton

Badminton Camp

Boys and girls learn the fun, fast paced game of badminton. Campers learn badminton skills and game concepts through games and activities and compete in matches at the end of every day. Additional Camp Information:

  • Complete and turn in the “Camp Participant Information Form” to the Camp Director. This MUST be completed and on file at the camp before your child may participate.
  • Complete and turn in the “Medication Order” form only if your child needs to take medicine during camp hours. (Includes inhalers, epi-pens, Benadryl, Tylenol, all prescription and non-prescription medication to be administered at camp).
  • BRING A FILLED REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE – extra water will be available on-site and we will take frequent water breaks.
  • Wear comfortable, light colored clothing and athletic shoes.  Jewelry of any kind is discouraged.
  • Apply sunscreen prior to arrival at camp. 
  • All campers MUST be signed-in and signed-out DAILY.  Curb drop-off and pick-up are not options as a safety precaution for our campers. (A signed note must be given to the Camp Director for permission for your child to go home with anyone other than those listed on the “Camp Participation” form).

Baseball

Rich Jenkins' Baseball School

Have fun developing your skills while preparing for next baseball season. Receive instruction from Howard County coaches, teachers and varsity players as they get you ready to make the team! Camp is directed by Coach Rich Jenkins, who led Howard High School to Five Howard County Championships. Camp includes small group instruction so each player gets the attention needed. You are grouped according to skill level. Adjustments are made to keep teams as competitive as possible. Extend your day to 6 PM with HC Summer Mix Camp. Tim O'Brien's Baseball Camp

Come learn from the best! Director is Tim O’Brien, assistant coach at UMBC, former coach of the year at Long Reach High School and former pitching coach for the USA Baseball Team. Instructors are current or former college coaches and players with years of baseball experience. Players rotate through different stations that emphasize the skills needed to play baseball and finish the day with controlled practice games to work on in-game scenarios and situations. Tim O'Brien's Hitting Camp

Become a better hitter! Learn physical and mental aspects of hitting with age-appropriate instruction. Camp provides instruction from Division I college and high school coaches assisted by college and high school players. Focus is on confidence and skill. Learn how to become a more consistent and powerful hitter! Drills and games offer opportunities for immediate and long-term improvement! Great for 4th of July tournament preparation! Mike Lerner's Pitchers Academy

Prepare for the upcoming season with hands-on instruction from Mike Lerner, former Hammond High coach, and other local coaches and college players. No two players are alike, so this camp focuses on your strengths and style. Work on techniques to help you improve your game and pitch in front of the camera so you can see and critique your skills.
