County Executive Ball Announces $1.8 Million State Grant For Clean Water
Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced that Howard County has been awarded $1,818,450, dispersed over several years, through the Clean Water Commerce Act Grant from the Maryland Department of the Environment, to be used for the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant Advanced Process Instrumentation and Control System (APICS) project, to protect the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

County Executive Ball To Join Press Event for Clean Energy Jobs Act
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will join a press conference, organized by the Maryland Climate Coalition, on Main Street in Ellicott City to support the Clean Energy Jobs Act. To raise awareness for the legislation and the need to address climate change, activists are undertaking a cross-state 150-mile bike ride from Annapolis to Frederick, including a stop in Ellicott City.
