Howard County Will Follow Governor’s Expanded Vaccine Eligibility

Today, Howard County announced it will follow the expanded eligibility for vaccination laid out by Governor Hogan. The Howard County Health Department will begin scheduling vaccine appointments for all groups in Phase 1C, beginning Monday, March 22, and follow other recommendations for expanded eligibility as supply allows.

Howard County Executive Ball Provides Vaccination Update

Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball provided an update on the County’s vaccination efforts. The Howard County Health Department has received 20,425 first doses of vaccine and administered 20,889, or 111.6%. To date approximately 15% of Howard County residents have received their first vaccine dose, and 6.6% are fully vaccinated.
