Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball presented his proposed $1.88 billion operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY 2022) to the Howard County Council. Howard County Executive Unveils New Restaurant, Dive Bar & Grille in Historic Savage Mill

Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball unveiled Dive Bar & Grille as the incoming restaurant at Historic Savage Mill. The new 9,000 square foot restaurant will be in the Carding Building, with 3 levels indoors, a riverside deck, and a patio on the courtyard terrace. The opening is planned for June 2021. Dive Bar & Grille has five other locations around the Pittsburgh area.

Howard County to Receive $63 Million from American Rescue Plan

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced the County is expecting $63.1 million in federal relief funding from the American Rescue Plan Act passed by Congress and signed this afternoon by President Biden. Funding was allocated on a population basis and must be used by December 31, 2024.
