Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball presented his proposed $1.88 billion operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY 2022) to the Howard County Council. Howard County Council Unanimously Passes County Executive Ball’s Budget with Record School Funding

Today, the County Council unanimously passed County Executive Calvin Ball’s Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) capital and operating budgets, his second as County Executive. With the support of a quarter percentage point increase in the transfer tax to 1.25 percent, the passed FY21 capital budget maintained support to three high-priority school construction projects (High School #13, Talbott Springs Elementary School and Hammond High School).

Executive Kittleman presents capital improvement budget for Fiscal Year 2017

Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman presented to the County Council his $315.7 million Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2017. The budget supports the county’s priorities, including education, public safety, transportation and infrastructure and actually provides more county funding for school projects than in FY 2016.
