Executive Kittleman to showcase electric buses

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman will offer a media availability to discuss and showcase electric buses that have recently been added to the fleet serving county residents. Operated by the Regional Transportation Agency of Central Maryland (RTA), the buses are part of a demonstration project to evaluate the energy efficiency and cost effectiveness of electric buses and the integration of fully wireless inductive charging. The transit hub at The Mall in Columbia will host one of the inductive charging stations.
