ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to improve a stormwater management retention pond northwest of 3715 Garand Road in Ellicott City, is expected to begin on or about Monday, June 5. The project will replace the existing riser structure, pond outflow structure and inflow pipe. The pond will be deepened to improve water quality. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late September.

Signs will be posted near the site to advise motorists and pedestrians of the construction; however, the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic.
