Howard County Department of Public Works to host public meeting on Savage Area sewer, street projects

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll Baldwin Hall, 9035 Baltimore Street in Savage, to discuss improvements to the area within the Savage boundaries of Fair Street, Baltimore Street, William Street and Washington Street. Improvements include sewer main and connection realignments and complete street improvements.

A formal presentation, including the proposed design plans and construction schedules, will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, DPW staff members will remain on hand to explain the proposed plans, answer any questions and gather public comments.

Those unable to attend the meeting who would like to view the proposed plans and/or have questions regarding the sewer project should contact Ms. Kerri Dinsmore with DPW’s Utility Design Division at 410-313-5819 or email kdinsmore@howardcountymd.gov, or Mr. Marshall Davidson with DPW’s Transportation and Special Projects Division at 410-313-5806 or email mdavidson@howardcountymd.gov with regards to the street project.

An interpreter for people who are deaf or hard of hearing will be available if requested seven working days prior to the meeting. Please call the Department of Community Resources and Services at 410-313-6400 (voice) or use Relay at 7-1-1, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
