ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to install a culvert under Sweet Hours Way in Columbia is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, June 27. The project will include replacement of a corrugated metal pipe and the installation of reinforced concrete pipe between 7614 Sweet Hours Way and 7630 Moon Portrait Way. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early September.

Throughout the project, construction work will result in temporary obstruction and closure of the sidewalks along Sweet Hours Way. In addition, a portion of the pedestrian pathway south of Sweet Hours Way will be closed for the duration of the project. Signs will be posted to advise residents of the construction and sidewalk and pathway closures.
