Executive Kittleman to Officially Reopen Howard County’s MultiService Center

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman and District 3 Councilperson Jen Terrasa will join Department of Citizen Services’ staff at ceremonies to officially reopen the County’s MultiService Center (MSC) on Monday, January 11 at 10:45 a.m. Located in North Laurel, the MSC recently completed an extensive renovation and a nearly 32 percent expansion to better serve the needs of the North Laurel community.

The renovation and expansion project took eight weeks to complete, adding 955 square feet of space to the MultiService Center, for a total of 3,950 square feet. The newly expanded space includes four new offices to accommodate MSC staff and its community partners, a larger waiting area for clients, plus a new computer area for job searching, resume writing, etc. Also, new office hours will better accommodate the community’s needs, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
