Proposed concept plans to be unveiled at third public meeting on Long Reach Village Center renewal plan

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – The third in a series of four meetings seeking public input on the revitalization of the Long Reach Village Center will be held Thursday, June 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Stonehouse in Columbia. Sean Davis, Principal with Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc., will discuss a range of concept plans that have been developed incorporating stakeholder input.

Working in conjunction with the Long Reach Village Board, Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman scheduled four community meetings to provide opportunities to hear directly from residents regarding an Urban Renewal Plan being developed for the center.

All four meetings will be videotaped; the first two sessions are now available on the Long Reach Village Center’s redevelopment page at www.howardcountymd.gov/longreach.
