Howard County to shine spotlight on volunteers

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County will pay tribute to volunteers who make the community a better place at the annual Volunteer of the Year Ceremony on Wednesday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Banneker Room of the George Howard Building. This year 10 adults, two youth, three non-profit organizations or governmental agencies and one for-profit or community group have been nominated and will be honored. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Howard County’s “Volunteer of the Year” will be announced.
