ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will join Columbia Association and the Howard County Veterans Foundation to honor and pay tribute to all veterans and active military servicemembers who protect our freedoms and serve our community. A parade will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Merriweather Post Pavilion Lot 2 to the Downtown Columbia Lakefront. At the lakefront, a brief ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.

“On Veterans Day and every day, we are grateful to the more than 20,000 veterans and their families who call Howard County home,” said Ball. “As the son of an Air Force Veteran, I understand the challenges our Veterans face in protecting our Country. Let us remember the service of all veterans and their sacrifice to preserve our freedoms.”
