ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to extend public sewer to 3222 and 3226 Boones Lane in Ellicott City is expected to begin on or about Monday, October 28. The project involves the installation of approximately 107 linear feet of eight-inch sewer main, a four-foot diameter manhole and water and sewer house connections. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late November.
Flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic as southbound Boones Lane, located south of the intersection of Boones Lane and Pine Bluffs Drive, will be affected during construction hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Northbound Boones Lane will also experience delays during the installation of the water house connection. Signs have been posted at the site to advise pedestrians and motorists of the construction and related lane shifts.
