Howard County to host information sessions on human service grant application process

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – The Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services will hold two mandatory pre-application information sessions for non-profit organizations interested in applying for a Fiscal Year 2020 Community Service Partnership (CSP) operating or one-time grant. 

The first session will take place on Thursday, November 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 346/347 at 9830 Patuxent Woods Drive in Columbia. The second session will happen the following day, November 9, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the same location. Applicants are required to attend one of the two sessions. CSP grants support the delivery of essential human services in Howard County. Funding priority is given to services that meet basic needs and facilitate self-sufficiency. CSP funds may be used for agency operating expenses, program costs, direct client assistance or one-time expenses that directly serve the community. To be eligible, an agency must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit and serve the residents of Howard County.

Grant applications will be available online for completion at www.howardcountymd.gov/CSP beginning Thursday, November 1. All applications are due by Monday, January 7, 2019.
