ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman and county agencies will hold a public Open House this Thursday, September 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at two newly renovated buildings in the county’s Community Resources Campus (CRC) in Columbia. The buildings house the new offices of the Department of Community Resources and Services, Department of Housing and Community Development, Office of Human Rights and Community Action Council of Howard County.

During the open house, the agencies will provide tours, activities and refreshments. After a brief presentation at 3:00 p.m., the Department of Housing and Community Development will conduct a Moderate Income Housing Unit (MIHU) Lottery Drawing.

Kittleman established the CRC to reinvent the way human services are delivered in Howard County. When completed, the campus will be a central location for nonprofits and county and state agencies providing human services. The NonProfit Collaborative, located in the heart of the campus, opened in April 2017 and currently houses 16 nonprofit agencies.
