Star Party at Alpha Ridge Park

Come enjoy the night sky through telescopes set up by The Howard Astronomical League (HAL). At this relaxed, casual, family event, view live images on a big screen as seen through the Watson Telescope in HAL’s observatory at Alpha Ridge Park. Sunset Serenades Movie Night – Raiders of the Lost Ark

Centennial Park South, 10000 Route 108, Ellicott City

This summer’s Sunset Serenades will feature two movie nights; Raiders of the Lost Ark on June 27 and Pirates! The Band of Misfits on August 17. 

The Sunset Serenades concert series will kick off July 11th through August 8th, Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. The Traveling Bands Concert Series starts July 7th and runs through August 11th at various days, locations and times. The movie nights and two concert series are free.

Grab a blanket or lawn chair, a picnic supper, rent a canoe or paddleboat and come enjoy entertainment in the park.   

Refreshments will be available for sale during Sunset Serenades. Also, at all Sunset Serenades concerts the Community Action Council of Howard County, Inc. will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Howard County Food Bank.
