Howard County to shine spotlight on volunteers

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County will pay tribute to volunteers who make our community a better place at the annual Volunteer of the Year Ceremony on Thursday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Banneker Room of the George Howard Building. This year, five adults, two non-profit organizations or governmental agencies, and one for-profit or community group have been nominated and will be honored. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Howard County’s “Volunteer of the Year” will be announced.
