Main Street Water Main Improvements to Begin

A Howard County construction project to repair a water main located along Main Street in Ellicott City, is expected to begin on or about Monday, May 6. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early June.

County Executive Ball To Recognize “Zaching Day” In Howard County

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will recognize May 1st as “Zaching Day” in Howard County. Zachary Lederer started the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation (ZACF) before he passed away of brain cancer at the age of 20 in March of 2014. Zachary's birthday is May 1st and this day will be used to raise awareness and funds for cancer patients and their caregivers.
