Dorsey Run Interceptor Sewer Public Meeting
Event Start Date: 4/27/2017 7:00 PM

Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, April 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the George Howard Building’s Columbia/Ellicott City Room, located at 3430 Court House Drive in Ellicott City, to discuss the study, design and construction of a Dorsey Run interceptor sewer project. The project will involve the replacement, cleaning and lining of 13,000 linear feet of sewer. The project site would follow the existing Dorsey interceptor sewer beginning near US 1 and Assateague Drive, moving southward past Dorsey Run Road and ending at the Dorsey Run pumping station at 8181 Patuxent Range Road in Jessup.

A formal presentation, including the proposed design plans, will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, DPW staff members will remain on hand to explain the proposed plans, answer any questions and gather public comments.

Those unable to attend the meeting who would like to view the proposed plans and/or have questions regarding the sewer project should contact Mr. Kin Siew with DPW’s Utility Design Division at 410-313-6124 or email ksiew@howardcountymd.gov. An interpreter for people who are deaf or hard of hearing will be available if requested seven working days prior to the meeting. Please call the Department of Community Resources and Services at 410-313-6400 (voice) or use Relay at 7-1-1, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
