The Customer Service / Water Quality Division is responsible for most calls from residents for assistance and service. 

In 2015 the Customer Service group fielded almost 3500 calls from residents about assets and services. These calls are dispatched to the various groups working at the Bureau of Utilities.

The Water Quality Group is responsible for the sampling of all public water in the Distribution System as well as all Regulatory Reporting. In 2015 the Water Quality Group collected over 2000 water samples for testing.

Upcoming Scheduled Repairs

The Bureau of Utilities and the Bureau of Engineering are collaboratively working on improvements to the water system in the northwestern corner of Elkridge.  As part of the improvement efforts, the water system will undergo modifications to how the area will be served by water.  As a result, homes and businesses in the vicinity of Rowanberry Drive and Lawyers Hill Road highlighted in red in the included map may experience a slight reduction in water pressure starting Monday, April 30, 2018.  Customers should not be alarmed as water supply and quality will not be impacted.  The Bureau of Utilities will be closely monitoring the system and will address any issues that arise.
