The Customer Service / Water Quality Division is responsible for most calls from residents for assistance and service. 

In 2015 the Customer Service group fielded almost 3500 calls from residents about assets and services. These calls are dispatched to the various groups working at the Bureau of Utilities.

The Water Quality Group is responsible for the sampling of all public water in the Distribution System as well as all Regulatory Reporting. In 2015 the Water Quality Group collected over 2000 water samples for testing.

Upcoming Scheduled Repairs

Water Main Inspection: The Bureau of utilities will be performing a shut down of a 24" water main that runs parallel to Baltimore National Pike between Tyson's Road and Greenway Drive in preparation for an upcoming inspection. The scheduled shutdown will be conducted Monday February 5th between 8:00 pm - 5:00 am. no service outages are anticipated but there may be some periods of reduced pressure. there will be staff onsite monitoring the situation so should you encounter any issues during this time please contact the emergency 911 center at 410-313-2929. if you have any questions or concerns prior to the start of the shutdown you may contact our main office between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm on Monday at 410-313-4900.
