Why eCycle?

Computers, televisions and other electronic equipment can contain lead, mercury, cadmium and other toxic materials, which should be disposed of properly. These items also contain valuable metals such as gold, silver and palladium that can be recycled through special programs.

Recycle your electronic items and #6 Styrofoam™ at the Alpha Ridge Landfill. Residents using ARL are required to show their driver's licenses as proof of residence in Howard County.

Business eCycling

    Businesses can bring electronics to the Alpha Ridge Landfill (maximum of 10 items per day). Effective immediately, small businesses will be limited to 2 TVs or monitors per day.
