Opioid Overdose Response (Narcan) Training

Thank you for participating in the Howard County Health Department’s Opioid Overdose Response Training. Today, you will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to respond to an overdose appropriately. You will also be advised to locate your nearest AED cabinet, where you will find Narcan, gloves, a protective face mask and a Narcan administration instruction card, in the event that you are in a position to respond to an opioid overdose. We appreciate you taking the time to equip yourself with the knowledge and resources to save a life.
