Ellicott City Master Plan Advisory Team

The Master Plan Advisory Team (MPAT) will provide feedback on key issues during the drafting of the Master Plan for Ellicott City and the Tiber-Hudson Watershed. The Plan will make recommendations on land use, urban design, parking, zoning, transportation, stormwater management, economic development, historic preservation, parks, and community facilities based on public and stakeholder input, technical analysis, and national best practices. Click here for more information.

Valley Mede Drainage Study Public Meeting

Event Start Date: 11/15/2017 7:00 PM

Presentation on a drainage study that was completed to provide a comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the flood event of July 30, 2016 in the Valley Mede, Chatham and Nob Hill areas of the Plumtree Branch and Little Plumtree Branch watersheds. This analysis also modeled how certain water retention controls, stream channel enhancements, and local drainage improvements may reduce the amount of flooding for various storm conditions.
