Howard County 2018 Priority Letter


The Howard County Office of Transportation has begun developing the Fiscal Year 2018 Priority Letter, which will recommend Howard County’s prioritized transportation projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)'s FY 2018-2023 Consolidated Transportation Program.  The letter is due to MDOT in April 2017, and will be the result of review and input from the public, by County staff from several departments, as well as elected and appointed officials.

The Office of Transportation held a public information and input meeting about the Priority Letter on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

Interested parties who were unable to attend the meeting may directly submit comments and input into the FY 2018 letter using the form below or in one of the following ways: 

  • Via email to David Cookson, Office of Transportation Planning Manager at dcookson@howardcountymd.gov by February 28, 2017.
  • By letter to the Howard County Office of Transportation, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043 by February 28, 2017.
