The Human Rights Commission annually honors individuals and community organizations/businesses for their contributions to human and civil rights in Howard County. The purpose of the award is to recognize exemplary citizenship achievement in eliminating or eradicating discrimination, while advancing human rights for all residents of Howard County. 

The award recipients will be recognized and celebrated at the Human Rights Commission Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 16, 2020 has been rescheduled to May 28, 2020 beginning at 6:30 pm.  The award recipients must attend on May 28, 2020.

The deadline to submit a nomination(s) has been extended from Friday, March 13, 2020 to April 16, 2020.  Self nominations are accepted.  You can submit your nomination by using the below link.
