2018 Event Highlights include:

  • "Mindfully Map Out Your Future" at 11:00 a.m. in the Jim Rouse Theatre. The Keynote Address will be presented by AARP's Amy Goyer, the author of “Juggling Life, Work, and Caregiving” and a nationally known expert on aging and families. Goyer will discuss what steps are necessary to create a successful future plan, including having important family discussions, forming your own team of advisors and potential caregivers should you need them, getting legal and financial affairs in order, finding and using community-based supports, and being practical about ways to care for yourself as you age. with practical tips to help you and your family plan for the future you want! FREE. Register online today; all attendees will be entered into a drawing for a $300 gift card (must be present to win).
  • The Capitol Steps return with one show at 2:00 p.m. in the Jim Rouse Theatre. Tickets are $5.00; available at the ticket booth beginning at 9 a.m., while supplies last. 
  • Become a Friend of the EXPO to get free admission to the 50+EXPO, plus a free reserved seat for the keynote and the Capitol Steps show. All Friends will be entered  into a drawing for two round trip bus tickets to NYC courtesy of Eyre Travel.
