Fishing Classes

Junior Anglers
5-13 yrs  /  3 classes starting May 14  / $50
New young anglers, come learn to rig a pole, cast, identify fish, tie knots and much more!  No experience necessary - all equipment and bait is provided.  This class is a great way to make friends and swap fish stories while learning a new lifelong outdoor skill.

Let's Go Fishing! (Parent/Child)
6-12 yrs  /  2 classes, start dates below  / $25
This fishing class for beginners focuses on rigging a pole, casting, fish identification, knot tying and much more!  No experience necessary - all equipment and bait is provided.  This class is a great way to spend quality family time together while learning a new lifelong skill.

All Anglers age sixteen (16) and older must have a current
fishing license for all programs and events.  For more information on fishing in Maryland, check out the Maryland Fishing Guide from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources!
 

All programs are catch & release, and detailed information will be emailed to class participants within a week of the program start date.
