Parks Update, February 3: All Howard County parks except for Blandair and Troy Parks are now open. Centennial Park North and Cedar Lane Park East entrances are not open, but you can access those areas of the park through other entrances.

Centennial Park Lake Lowering: Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks is lowering the water level of Centennial Lake in Ellicott City by about six inches every day until the level has been lowered five feet. The water will remain at that reduced level until approximately April while repairs are made to the dam structure. Click here for more information.

Patuxent Branch Trail Surface Upgrade:This project, expected to begin in the spring/summer of 2018, will upgrade the surface of the currently unpaved portion of the Patuxent Branch Trail to bring it up to the same quality as the rest of the trail. Click here for more information.

Tell HoCo allows County residents and visitors the ability to report non-emergency problems – such as potholes, graffiti, downed tree limbs on County property and traffic signal issues – to the appropriate county government representative, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
