Give Budget Testimony
County Executive Ken Ulman will hold his first Citizens’ Budget Hearing for the FY2014 budget cycle on Monday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Banneker Room of the George Howard Building, 3430 Courthouse Drive in Ellicott City.
The County Executive and members of his administration welcome your comments as they prepare both the operating and capital budgets for Fiscal Year 2014 which runs from July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014. Let county officials know the spending priorities of Howard County residents by testifying.
Beginning on Monday, February 25, residents can:
- sign-up on-line to speak at the hearing, or
- provide on-line budget testimony; however, residents are reminded that internet testimony is considered public information and, as such, is subject to the Maryland Public Information Act.
Residents who do not wish to sign-up on-line will still be able to sign-up in person on the night of the public hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m. Speakers must sign up individually, and one person may not sign up for several testifiers.
