Computer Operations and Records Management

The Computer Operations Division oversees the operation of the Data Center and the Records Management Center.

The Computer Operations Data Center supports the County's legacy systems that run an IBM mainframe. Computer Operations staff perform the daily, weekly and monthly system backups, participate in disaster recovery support, and run the nightly reports and batch processing. During non-working hours, Computer Operations assumes the role of the HELP desk call center.

The Records Management section of the Computer Operations Division is responsible for the scanning and storing of County Records. Once stored, these records are available through a County Intranet.
