Thanksgiving Holiday
All county government office, courts and the animal shelter will be closed on Thursday, November 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. There will be no trash collection or recycling and the landfill will be closed; the County’s holiday “slide” schedule will be in effect. RTA (Regional Transportation Agency) buses will not be operating on Thanksgiving Day; please call their Customer Service Line at 1-800-270-9553 for more information. Parking meters are free on Thanksgiving Day. Police, Fire and the 9-1-1 Center are open and remain staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For emergencies, call: 9-1-1; for non-emergency Police related matters, please call: 410-313-2200.

There will be trash and recycling collection; however, please note that the County’s holiday “slide” schedule is in effect. The landfill will be open on Friday, November 28. RTA (Regional Transportation Agency) buses will resume normal business day schedule; please call their Customer Service Line at 1-800-270-9553 for more information. Parking meters must have coins on Friday, November 28 and all parking regulations and fees will be in effect. Police, Fire and the 9-1-1 Center are open and remain staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For emergencies, call: 9-1-1; for non-emergency Police related matters, please call: 410-313-2200.
