Birthday Party Room Rentals

Room rentals are $100 per hour for Howard County residents and $125 per hour for non-residents.  Room rentals include:
• Tables and chairs set to your specifications;
• Access to fridge and freezer for cake and ice cream storage; and
• Complimentary admission for you and your guests to nature center exhibits and trails.
The time you need for your set-up and clean-up must be included in your room rental. Rooms are rented in one-hour increments.

Birthday Party Packages

If you are interested in more than just a room rental for your birthday party, the Robinson Nature Center offers nine different birthday party packages.

The price of each Nature program package includes:
• Tables and chairs set to your specifications;
• 2-hour room rental with an extra half-hour to set up;
• Access to refrigerator and freezer for cake and ice cream storage;
• Half-hour program led by a staff naturalist;
• Invitations for twenty guests;
• Balloons, birthday banner and table coverings; and
• Complimentary admission for you and your guests to nature center exhibits and trails.

The price of each NatureSphere planetarium package includes:
• Tables and chairs set to your specifications;
• 2-hour room rental with an extra half-hour to set up;
• Access to refrigerator and freezer for cake and ice cream storage;
• Half-hour program led by a staff naturalist that includes a show in the NatureSphere planetarium;
• Invitations for twenty guests;
• Balloons, birthday banner and table coverings; and
• Access for you and your guests to nature center exhibits and trails.

Scheduling Birthday Parties

Birthday parties are scheduled on the weekends during the following time slots.
Saturdays  10AM – 12PM or 2:30PM – 4:30PM
Sundays  1PM – 3PM

*All options include a $200 security deposit.

Birthday Party FAQ's

How are refunds issued if the birthday child is sick on the day of the party and we have to cancel?  Can we reschedule if the birthday child is sick the day of the party?   

You will receive an 80% refund if the party is cancelled.  You also have the option of rescheduling with no fee penalty.

Can I bring helium balloons?  

No, please do not bring in helium balloons.  We have high ceilings and do not want balloons to escape and get stuck.  For party packages, we decorate the room with non-helium balloons before you arrive.
