This licensed program provides varied low-key morning activities and structured afternoon recreation. Activities include crafts, games, sports and special events. Because obesity in children is a serious issue with many health and social consequences, we participate in Hearts N' Parks, an innovative program that aims to reduce the growing trend of obesity in children. The curriculum focuses on healthy eating and physical activity to educate and encourage children to make heart-healthy decisions. Fee includes more healthy snacks that follow the Hearts N' Parks guidelines. This program now incorporates care for kindergarten age children at schools offering full-day kindergarten.
