On June 18, 2008, the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, held a public meeting for interested parties regarding the following topics:

Improvements to the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area (Capital Project N-3965) The plans include parking, new restroom facilities, and a storage structure for park equipment.
