PUBLIC WORKS BOARD

Function:

Pursuant to the authority of the Howard County Code, the Public Works Board makes recommendations to the Director of Public Works, County Executive and the County Council relative to the plans and policies on matters under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Works. The Executive, at his discretion or the Council by resolution, may provide for reference to the Board for review and recommendations of the matter related the Board’s functions and duties.
