MENTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY

Function:

The Board of Directors of the Authority shall manage the affairs of authority and exercise all its corporate powers.

Number of Members:

12-20
Members shall be appointed by the County Executive with approval of the County Council, plus additional ex-officio, non-voting members. Members must also reside or work in Howard County and have interest in mental health. Makeup shall be 25% consumers; 25% relative or family members of direct consumers; 25% mental health professionals; and 25% at-large members.
