FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES BOARD

Function:

To advise and consult with the County Executive and the Chief of Fire and Rescue Services on matters concerning fire suppression and prevention, rescue services, fire training, arson investigation, fire communications activities and emergency medical services.

7
All must be Howard County residents, six appointed from names submitted by Howard County Volunteer Fireman’s Association, and one general public member selected by County Executive.

Names selected from list submitted by the Howard County Volunteer Fireman's Association, appointed by the County Executive and confirmed County Council. Resident appointed by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council.
