Narcotics Section

The Narcotics Section investigates drug distribution networks that may be operating in the county. Narcotics detectives operate in a covert capacity purchasing controlled dangerous substances and infiltrating drug organizations to gather sufficient evidence for prosecution. This section also investigates the illegal diversion of pharmaceutical drugs.

Members of the Narcotics Sections work very closely with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the United States Attorney’s Office.
