PFC Nicole Anderson

Chief William McMahon selected PFC Nicole Anderson as Police Officer of the Month for October 2007. During the month, Anderson handled 28 business checks, four insight reports, 11 criminal arrests, three DUI arrests, 111 calls for service and 57 traffic contacts.

Anderson also handled a number of follow-up investigations that required considerable time and effort. One investigation involved the theft of more than $1,000 worth of new DVDs from a Blockbuster video store. The investigation led to the arrest of one subject and the recovery of all the videos. Utilizing the information and evidence she had developed, Anderson was able to relate this case to a similar case in the southern district. She coordinated her investigation with the investigating officer from southern and, as a result, a warrant was obtained for a suspect in the case.

Anderson is an integral part of her squad and platoon. Her dedication and hard work helped close out two felony theft cases.
