The Howard County Office on Aging, a division of the Howard County Department of Citizen Services, is the principal agency that plans, advocates, develops, and coordinates programs and services for seniors and their family members. Office on Aging programs and activities are open to all people regardless of race, creed, or national origin.

Free Exercise Classes for Stroke Survivors offered through APA Study Locations: The Bain Center, Ellicott City Senior Center, and the Glenwood 50+ Center. Enrollment is Ongoing Exercise classes meet for one hour, 3x a week and are geared for those who have weakness in one leg; limp; or use a cane or a walker as a result of a stroke that occurred at least six months ago.
