The second lecture of the series will be presented on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. at the Library’s East Columbia Branch by local author and environmental scientist Ned Tillman.
Tillman, who is Chairman of the Howard County Environmental Sustainability Board and is past chair of the Howard County Conservancy, will speak about his new book, The Chesapeake Watershed: A Sense of Place and a Call to Action. In the book, Tillman explains how the watershed was formed, how it benefits our environment, and offers suggestions of what each of us can do to preserve and restore this national treasure.
