Howard County Tourism Team

Rachelina Bonacci Executive Director
As the executive director of Howard County Tourism (the parent organization of Blossoms of Hope) Rachelina drafts and implements the strategic plan, communications plan and marketing plan the organization and manages all of the media relations and media placement. As the primary contact for governmental affairs, she applies for grants from the county and state as well as testifies as requested by elected officials on tourism topics.

Edward Lilley Visitor Information Center Manager
Edward manages all aspects of the daily operation of Howard County Tourism. He staffs and manages the center, keeps informational brochures well stocked and posts notices of events and ongoing programs for partners. Edward is also responsible for booking school field trips, heritage groups tours and the very popular ghost tours. Edward also manages the inventory and sale of the many retail items available in the Visitor Information Center.

Amanda Hof Special Events & Project Manager
As Special Events & Project Manager Amanda Hof’s primary responsibility is planning Howard County Tourism’s Annual Fundraiser and its Annual Meeting. Amanda also manages and promotes the new tourism initiative Blossoms of Hope: The Howard County Cherry Tree Project. Amanda also develops new tourism products to market Howard County’s existing attractions and amenities to new customers.

Victoria Goodman Executive Director
Blossoms of Hope: The Howard County Cherry Tree Project
Victoria directs all aspects of the Blossoms of Hope project including tree sponsorship opportunities, event management and other promotional activities. Blossoms of Hope, beautifies our destination, promotes wellness, creates tourism opportunities for family togetherness and improves the lives of those in our community coping with cancer.

GHOST TOUR TEAM
Howard County Tourism seeks energetic and engaging Ghost Tour Specialists! We pay our spirited tour guides $35.00 per tour of our very haunted mill towns. Our guides usually make additional $$$ in tips. Ghost Tours are every Friday & Saturday night in Ellicott City (April- November) & Historic Savage Mill (October- November.) Costumes are encouraged but not required. We are also looking for Visitor Information Center tour check-in, starting pay is $8.00, retail and customer service experience welcomed.

HERITAGE TOUR TEAM
Howard County Tourism hosts hundreds of 3rd grade students for walking tours of Historic Ellicott City and its museums each Fall & Spring. We need guides WHO LOVE HISTORY and with lots of personality and patience to entertain and educate our 3rd grade guests! We pay your heritage tour guides $35.00 per tour.
